Noel Fulkerson, retired in 1998 from the Raytown School District where he served for 35 years as Choral Director at Raytown High School and as District Coordinator of Music.  His groups have performed for state and national music organizations and received top rating at Missouri District and State Music Festivals.  In retirement, he is active as a choral musician servings as a part time music teacher at St. Mary’s High School in Independence and is Director of Music at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Independence.  He is director of the Raytown Community choir, teaches private voice and is active as a clinician and adjudicator.  Mr. Fulkerson is a 2001 co-founder of the Kansas City Metro Men’s Chorus and serves as its Music Director and Conductor.

Brenda Yeates, Pianist

Brenda Yeates has served as accompanist at Raytown High School since 1982.  She was a student of Mr. Fulkerson’s and has worked with him in many capacities since 1972.  A busy mother of two, she also serves as pianist and choir director at Sterling Acres Baptist Church in Kansas City.  Brenda also serves as accompanist for the Kansas City Metro Men’s Chorus and the Raytown Community Choir.  With the support of the KCMMC and her family and friends, this year Brenda recorded her first CD which is available at the KCMMC concerts.
